How the login works

Signing in to Westio is deliberately simple: an email address and a password, with optional two-step verification on top. There is no separate username, no PIN and no app to install. The same details work on a laptop, a tablet and a phone, and your balance, bonus progress and limits follow you between devices.

The Westio login button sits in the top-right corner of every page. Click it, enter your email and password, and you land back in the lobby with your balance showing in the header. If you have two-step verification switched on, you will be asked for a code before the session opens.

Logging in on desktop and mobile

On a desktop or laptop

  1. Open the site in an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox).
  2. Click Log in in the header.
  3. Type the email you registered with and your password.
  4. Enter the two-step code if prompted.

Tick “remember me” only on a private computer. On a shared or work machine, always log out and close the browser when you finish.

On iPhone and Android

There is no download. The site is browser-based and fully responsive, so you log in exactly as on desktop. To make it feel like an app, open the site in Safari or Chrome, choose Add to Home Screen, and an icon appears next to your other apps. Your phone’s password manager or Face ID can then fill the login form for you.

Registering first

You need a Westio account before the login form does anything. UK rules mean your age and identity are checked before you can play, including free demo games, so have your details ready.

  1. Open the sign-up form — click Register and enter your email, a strong password and your mobile number.
  2. Add your personal details — full legal name, date of birth and UK address exactly as they appear on your documents.
  3. Set your limits — you are asked to choose deposit limits during sign-up; pick realistic numbers now rather than later.
  4. Pass the checks — automatic age and identity checks run in the background; if they cannot confirm you, upload ID in Account → Verification.
  5. Confirm your email — click the link in the welcome email, then log in for the first time.

If the automatic check asks for documents, our KYC and withdrawals guide explains which ones are accepted and how to photograph them so they pass first time.

Two-step verification

Two-step verification (2FA) is optional at Westio but strongly recommended. Once switched on, a password alone is not enough to get into your account; you also need a one-time code.

  • SMS codes — a six-digit code is texted to your registered mobile each time you log in.
  • Authenticator app — scan a QR code with Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or similar, then type the rotating code.

You switch it on under Account → Security. The authenticator option is the safer of the two because it does not depend on your phone number. Keep any backup codes somewhere offline, because losing your phone without them means a slower recovery through live chat.

Forgotten password and locked accounts

Resetting your password

Click Forgot password on the login screen and enter your registered email. A reset link arrives within a few minutes and stays valid for 60 minutes. Choose a new password you have never used anywhere else. Check your spam folder if the email does not show up, and make sure you typed the address you actually signed up with.

When the account locks

After 5 failed attempts your Westio account locks for 30 minutes. This is a security feature, not a ban. Waiting is the only way through it; support cannot shorten the timer. Use the reset link instead of guessing again, otherwise you simply trigger another lock.

Never share your login

The casino’s staff will never ask for your password or a 2FA code in live chat or by email. Anyone who does is attempting to take over your account. Letting another person use your account also breaks the terms and can void any winnings.

Why logins fail

Most login problems have a short list of causes. Some are technical, others are deliberate account restrictions.

VPNs and travelling

UK-facing operators must know where you are playing from. A VPN hides that, so the login is usually refused or the account is flagged for review. If you travel abroad, remember that the rules of the country you are in apply, and some countries block access completely.

Verification and self-exclusion

An unfinished identity check is the most common reason a UK player can log in but cannot deposit or spin. A self-exclusion, either set on the site or through GAMSTOP, blocks access entirely for the chosen period. Neither can be bypassed through support, and that is how it should be.

Staying secure

A few habits protect your account and your money:

  • Use a unique password of at least 12 characters, ideally from a password manager.
  • Switch on two-step verification with an authenticator app.
  • Only log in through the real site address, never through links in unexpected emails or texts.
  • Keep your email account secure too, because whoever controls it can reset your casino password.
  • Log out on shared devices and do not save card details on them.
  • Check the login history in your account settings if anything looks wrong, and contact live chat straight away.

Safer-gambling tools after login

Once you are signed in, the Safer gambling section of your Westio account gives you control over your play. You can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit and loss limits, turn on reality checks that pop up after a set time, take a time-out from 24 hours to 6 weeks, or self-exclude for 6 months to 5 years. An activity statement shows exactly what you have deposited, won and lost.

Lowering a limit takes effect immediately; raising one comes with a cooling-off period. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, the National Gambling Helpline (GamCare) is free and open 24/7 on 0808 8020 133, and BeGambleAware and Gordon Moody offer further support.

Ready to sign in

With your Westio details confirmed, a strong password and 2FA in place, logging in takes seconds on any device. New players can check the current welcome package on our promotions page before making a first deposit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a Westio app to log in with?

No, there is no App Store or Google Play app. The site runs in your mobile browser and you can add it to your home screen, so it opens like an app and you log in with the same email and password.

How long is the password reset link valid?

The reset link sent by email stays valid for 60 minutes. If it expires, simply request a new one from the Forgot password link on the login screen.

Why is my account locked after a few tries?

After 5 failed login attempts the account is locked for 30 minutes to protect it from guessing attacks. Wait out the lock, then use the password reset instead of guessing again.

Can I log in from abroad or with a VPN?

Logins from restricted countries or through a VPN are usually blocked, because UK-facing operators must know where you are playing from. Switch the VPN off and only play where online gambling is legal for you.

I am on GAMSTOP. Why can I not log in?

UK-licensed casinos must honour GAMSTOP, so access is blocked for the length of your self-exclusion. That is the scheme working as intended; if you are struggling, the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133.
